This aligns perfectly with how Ni users process. It's not about raw emotion for INFJs or INTJs; it's about the collapse of their internal architecture, as the article puts it. In Socionics, this is akin to how a leading Ni type might experience a loss of their core structure, demanding a re-evaluation of their entire 'program'.

I just found out I'm an INFJ last month and this article is... intense. The part about grief becoming a health condition and a 'profound dismemberment of self' feels really heavy. Does this mean every relational disconnect will always feel like the world is ending and I can never just have a simple, natural grief process like other types?

My partner is an INFJ and I always try to support them when things get hard. It makes so much sense that 'just feel your feelings' doesn't work for them, because I see how they spiral internally, as the article mentions. How do other ENFJs help their INFJ partners rebuild their internal narrative? I try to offer externalizing the intuitive spiral by just listening to their theories.
